The California Adoption Conference is a two-day event featuring presentations and workshops for adoptive and foster families, adult adoptees and foster alums, first/birth parents, and adoption professionals.
Each day begins with a morning keynote presentation followed by lunch. In the afternoon, participants choose from a variety of workshop to delve deeper into topics such as open adoption, transracial adoption, attachment, searching for first/birth family, and more.
The 2020 conference will feature keynote presentations by Bryan Post, Ph.D., founder of the Post Institute for Family-Centered Therapy, and Sharon Kaplan Roszia, M.S., author of “The Open Adoption Experience” and co-author of “Seven Core Issues in Adoption and Permanency.”
