Maryland House of Delegates Judiciary Committee Hearing

The Judiciary Committee in the Maryland House of Delegates will hold a public hearing on HB1039, a bill that will restore the rights of adult adoptees and their descendants to request and obtain their own original birth certificates. Written testimony cannot be emailed but must be handed in prior to the hearing. Witnesses must also sign up to testify at least one hour prior to the hearing.
