A government committee in the Netherlands studying abuses in intercountry adoption has issued its report, and we are providing links to it here so that adoptees, friends, and allies are able to download and read it.
A note of deep thanks and recognition to all of the Dutch intercountry adoptees who participated in the committee’s work, provided testimony and accounts of their lived experiences, and ultimately made the reports possible.
The full report is in Dutch and runs more than 160 pages. It has not yet been translated to English. The summary report is in Dutch and English. The website of the Committee Investigating Intercountry adoption is here, where there is more information and further context to the committee’s work.
