It’s back to work—sorta. And back to school and back to life, though the anxiety over what “back to normal” looks like is ever-present. What better time for a happy hour to talk about what we are planning, what you are doing and feeling, and where we all may be heading in the next few months and year with adoptee rights and issues.
We’ll keep an open forum but will also be discussing upcoming Adoptees United plans, including a board-driven focus on Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB). We’ll talk about what we can do to shift the dominant adoptee narrative through Wikipedia, what to expect legislatively in 2022, and where you may be able to pitch in as a volunteer over the next year.
