The Wisconsin Senate Committee on Universities, Technical Colleges, Children and Families has scheduled a public hearing for December 4 on Senate Bill 521.
The legislature will hear testimony on H.1892/S.1267 on December 10. The bill eliminates a date-based restriction in current law that prohibits release of an adult adopted person's own original birth certificate to those born between July 17, 1974, and January 1, 2008.
